US Core PCE Inflation Measure Stays Below Fed’s 2% Target
The core PCE price index, the Federal Reserve’s preferred measure of inflation, rose by 1.8% year/year last month, well below the Fed’s 2% target, but that won’t stop it from raising interest rates.
