COT - Smallest JPY Speculative Short Position in 3 Years
Large speculators in Japanese Yen hold their smallest short position since October 2012! This data is ‘as of’ 10/20 (doesn’t include the 10/22 move) but specs aren’t positioned for a BoJ surprise. If something happens, there’s a lot of dry powder out there.
